About the Position
Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule:
12-hour shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays; maximum 7 days RTO available
Highlights:
Telemetry unit caring for adults to geriatrics with cardiac and critical diagnoses including CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a 36-bed unit with average daily census of 35
Epic EMR system required; experience with cardiac and vasoactive drip management essential
13-week assignment with orientation and bi-weekly start schedule; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience
Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; no call requirements
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand at time of application
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience; patient ratio experience of 1:4-5 preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
Proficiency in Epic charting system required
Demonstrated competency managing cardiac drips (milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, heparin) without titration
Skills in telemetry monitoring and interpretation, post-cardiac cath and post-MI care, IV insulin protocols, wound care, and central line management
Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required at time of submission
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Full compliance documentation due by Tuesday prior to start date to ensure on-time orientation
