This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Augusta, GA for pediatric Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP). Team members will assess children’s developmental, physical, and communication needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence‑based therapy in a classroom and clinic setting.
Daily responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with educators, nurses, and families, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing evaluation. Therapists will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to individualized education and care plans, and provide caregiver training to support carryover at home and in the community. The role also involves maintaining compliance with all professional, documentation, and ethical standards in a pediatric therapy and educational environment.
Qualifications- Current, unrestricted state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech‑Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- Demonstrated pediatric clinical skills, including evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of developmentally appropriate interventions.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in interdisciplinary or school‑based teams with educators, nurses, and caregivers.
- Proficiency in clear, timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and goal setting aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging children with diverse needs and for coaching families and caregivers.
- Commitment to inclusive, person‑centered care and respect for children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a dynamic educational and clinical environment.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in PT, OT, or SLP (or equivalent required by discipline); current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Experience in early intervention, preschool, or school‑based settings is strongly preferred.
- Interest in ongoing professional development, training, and participation in educational programs for families and staff.
