Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 6‑week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia.   • One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

  • Additional certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results.

Essential Work Functions
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
  • Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Maintain equipment and sterilize the procedure room
  • Evaluate images for quality and present preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
  • Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed
  • Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice
Required Essential Skills
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
  • Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Technical/Motor Skills – Must perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about while assisting with procedures and using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements – Must cope with frequent contact with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, and maintain concentration on details
  • Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and effective communication ability
