Role Description

The Staff Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role located in Augusta, GA. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, documenting care in accordance with regulatory and company standards, and collaborating with physicians, other therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.

The Staff Physical Therapist will provide patient and caregiver education, monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings. The role may also support mentorship, clinical education, and quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Georgia, or eligibility for Georgia licensure, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical skills in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based physical therapy interventions across a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Ability to provide clear patient education, demonstrate therapeutic exercises, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Competence in clinical documentation, time management, and use of electronic health records to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.
  • Commitment to professional development, openness to mentorship and continuing education, and alignment with research-driven, outcome-focused care.
  • Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, or acute care physical therapy is preferred; residency training or relevant certifications (e.g., orthopedic, sports, neurologic) are a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, showing empathy, cultural responsiveness, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
