Adults to geriatrics. Certifications required: BLS. General skills and work setting requirements:
All protentional MS, MS tele diagnoses. Float required to all MS, MS/Tele units within the hospital. Ratio/census: 1:5-6. Unit systems:
Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub color:
Navy blue. RTO:
Max 7 days. RTO blackout dates:
Spring break (April 4th-12th). Weekends:
Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract). Floating:
Required; possible to float to sister campus (Piedmont Augusta Summerville) which is approximately 3 miles down the road. Call requirements:
None. Holidays:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance:
Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Aya offer information:
