Job Description
Join a dedicated Telemetry unit focusing on cardiac care where your expertise as a Registered Nurse will shine during overnight 12-hour night shifts. You’ll be working with adults to geriatrics, managing complex cardiac conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-myocardial infarction cases. This role involves monitoring telemetry, conducting EKGs, and adjusting treatments within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 16-bed unit.
You’ll utilize systems like Epic and Pyxis, and adhere to safety protocols with scrub colors in navy blue. Expect a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, including floating within the scope of practice, and working during major holidays when scheduled. This contract offers a comprehensive experience providing varied cardiac emergencies and treatments, all while working with a supportive team in a busy hospital setting.
