Caregiver ​/ Direct Support Professional ​/ Kernersville

We are hiring for a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional position in Kernersville, NC. This is a regular, full‑time role with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Shift schedules vary by location, and a variety of shifts (including all days of the week) are typically available.

• Assist with health and safety procedures.
• Assist with people supported development.
• Assist with person‑supported community life.
• Provide support to team members and supervisors.
• Assist with person‑centered plans and outcomes.
• Assist with medical requests.
• Assist with data collection and reporting.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• Regularly required to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Must be able to pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
• Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

• Complete criminal background check (name checked in registries such as OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
• Drug testing.

• For positions requiring driving: proof of driver’s license, driver insurance, and vehicle.
