Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse

Minimum experience:

2 years; 1st timers not accepted. Patient population:
Neonates/Infants and Adults. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred. General skills and work setting requirements:
We are looking for motivated experienced labor and delivery travelers that want to work in a team-based unit;
Labor (Vaginal), C Sections, Multiple births, Post Partum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension. D&C Ratio / Census: 1:1-2; 16 L&D beds with average daily census of 15; 6 bed L&D Triage Unit. Systems:
Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub color:
Provided by the facility. RTO: MAX 7 days. RTO Blackout Dates:
Spring Break (April 4th-12th). Weekends: 3 weekend shifts per contract. Floating:
Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed. Call requirements:
For AM & PM shift 2 calls are required per 6 weeks. Holidays:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance:
Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
