Role Overview

Functions as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide direct patient care across various diagnostic categories, including adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include implementing and modifying treatment plans, documenting care, and coordinating follow-up post-discharge.

• Perform patient evaluations, goal setting, and discharge planning according to departmental policies.
• Document treatment plans and assessment findings, ensuring timely communication and billing.
• Supervise rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Meet productivity standards and proactively serve patients’ immediate needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licenses:
  Georgia State Licensure, BLS or BLS Instructor certification.
• Willingness to teach and mentor learners, with strong documentation and organizational skills.
