Speech Therapist (SLP)

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding career where you can truly impact lives? We are seeking a caring, motivated, and energetic Speech Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team for a part time position!

At our facility, you'll have the opportunity to help residents regain communication skills, improve swallowing function, and enhance their overall quality of life—all while working alongside a supportive and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and treatment techniques Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning as needed Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Speech-Language Pathologist License (State Requirements) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for helping others achieve their highest level of independence
