Job Description Summary

This full‑time, benefited position reports to the Director of Clinical Operations and requires oversight of general clinic and ambulatory surgical center (ASC) operations. The incumbent establishes and implements departmental goals, policies, procedures, and systems.

Role and Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations and training of all clinical and ASC staff at the assigned locations. Monitor the workload of receptionists, medical assistants, and fluoroscopy technicians, coordinate shift breaks, and ensure completion of all daily tasks. Engage with providers, lead receptionists, lab collectors, and lead medical assistants to maintain office flow and efficiency.

Specific duties expected to be carried out on a daily basis:

  • Monitor staff customer service
  • Handle patient complaints
  • Input missing injection/referral orders
  • Update incomplete histories of present illness
  • Audit charts for MIPS and vital signs
  • Audit charts for scanned documents (e.g., ORT, WC medications, bracing, ASC checkout)
  • Correct prescription errors
  • Create and maintain patient payment logs
  • Deposit patient payments at the bank
  • Ensure appropriate staffing for the day
  • Manage staff call‑outs
  • Track staff attendance and performance
  • Take patient notes and pamphlets to referring providers
  • Send liens to the PI team
  • Collect DME inventory
  • Check offices for organization and cleanliness
  • Verify patient benefits if insurance coverage has changed
  • Assist receptionists and medical assistants with daily tasks when short‑stopped
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience
  • Willingness to travel to all assigned locations
  • Experience using eClinical

    Works preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
