Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
- BLS required
Assignment Details
- Shift hours:
- Shift days:
Monday through Friday - Weekend requirement: 2 weekends during the assignment, with 2 weekdays off during weekend rotations
- Floating:
No floating - Unit setting:
Inpatient rehab - Documentation system:
Meditech - Equipment used: hi-low mats, Nustep, II bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, BITS interactive computer system
- Dress code:
Black scrubs and closed shoes

Location Highlights
Augusta offers access to both outdoor recreation and downtown attractions in eastern Georgia. The Augusta Riverwalk runs along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta, and Phinizy Swamp Nature Park provides wetlands trails and wildlife viewing about 8 miles from the city center. Augusta is home to the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area, which includes kayak routes and trail access, and the city is about 2 hours from Atlanta and about 1 hour from Columbia, South Carolina.
The area also features the Morris Museum of Art on the Riverwalk and Hitchcock Woods in nearby Aiken, offering a mix of arts, green space, and day-trip options.
