Minimum experience:
1 year; 1st timers are accepted
Patient population:
Adults to geriatrics
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
General skills and work setting requirements:
All Protentional MS, MS Tele, PCU diagnoses. Float required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU units within the hospital
Ratio / Census: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele unit
Systems:
Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub color:
Navy blue
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends:
Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
Floating:
Required

Holidays:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays are listed below:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
Compliance:
Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
