D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) located in the Psychology Services on Fort Gordon, Georgia. The primary

purpose of the Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health ) position is to provide individual and/or group therapy to assess acute mental health conditions.

Salary Range: $106,437 - $138,370 per year

Position available for a full-time Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health) at Fort Gordon, adjacent to Augusta, Georgia, famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft. Gordon has a moderate year-round climate and offers proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains. The Augusta area is a growing community with an excellent quality of life. A wide variety of cultural and outdoor recreational activities are readily available locally, and many more are easily accessible from the coast to the mountains.

Augusta has a vibrant professional medical environment, including the Medical College of Georgia and other referral medical centers. The cost of living is quite reasonable, with quality homes at good prices.

• Make mental health diagnoses in accordance with the most recent version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) when differential diagnosis is required.
• Provide individual and group treatment using evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psycho educational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Perform PCMH biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Evaluate clinical records and monitors all objective instrument administration and scoring for quality assurance.

US Citizenship required

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
