The Senior Human Resources Manager for Recruitment will support the implementation of the recruitment strategy, supervise the daily work activities of the talent sourcing specialist team, coordinate recruitment event activities, optimize various partnerships, and funnel talent into our pipeline programs. The position works closely with university partners, business leaders, and stakeholders to execute a recruiting strategy that increases the pipeline, recruiting experience, and hiring of diverse candidates.
The role focuses on early career talent pipeline programs and requires excellent communication, relationship building, presentation, project management, and strategy execution skills.
- Supervise day‑to‑day workflow of the talent sourcing specialist team
- Lead talent sourcing strategies for pre‑service teachers and teacher candidates
- Effectively manage teacher and paraprofessional requisition case load
- Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment to execute the recruitment strategy
- Consult with the Director to analyze recruitment and hiring data, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen relationships with campus stakeholders, and implement recruitment best practices
- Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with current and new strategic partners, external diversity organizations, and influencers to increase a diverse workforce
- Manage and attend recruiting and outreach events
- Create a new early talent program to increase representation at GCPS
- Meet and educate freshman and sophomore students from their initial interaction with the district’s recruiting process
- Create a strong pipeline of diverse talent into teaching, learning, and business functions across the organization
- Bridge the knowledge gap between academic studies and the professional world, addressing workplace readiness challenges
