Position SummaryThe People Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing Unifi Healthcare's HR technology ecosystem, leveraging AI and automation to improve operational efficiency, and transforming workforce data into actionable business insights. This role combines HR systems administration, reporting, analytics, process improvement, and emerging technology to help scale the People Operations function while enhancing the employee experience.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, technically curious, and comfortable navigating complex HR systems, particularly Rippling. They will partner closely with Payroll, Recruiting, IT, Finance, and operational leadership to improve reporting, compliance, automation, and employee data management.
This position plays a critical role in helping the People team scale efficiently while maintaining exceptional data integrity and compliance.
Essential Responsibilities HRIS Administration- Serve as a primary administrator for Rippling.
- Configure and maintain employee records, workflows, permissions, custom fields, and automations.
- Support new feature implementations and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues and partner with vendors to resolve complex problems.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation and reduce manual processes.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve People Operations efficiency, reporting, and employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive HR processes while maintaining data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows, documentation, and process improvements to reduce administrative work and increase team productivity.
- Utilize AI to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights.
- Stay current on advancements in HR technology, AI, and automation and recommend new solutions that support organizational growth.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions that enhance People Operations capabilities.
- Promote responsible and ethical use of AI while protecting confidential employee information and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
- Design and maintain recurring HR, payroll, recruiting, compliance, and executive dashboards.
- Develop ad hoc reports for leadership.
- Analyze workforce trends including headcount, turnover, retention, time-to-fill, PTO utilization, overtime, compensation, benefits eligibility, and labor metrics.
- Ensure reporting accuracy across multiple business entities.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Perform regular audits of employee data.
- Identify inconsistencies between HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Time & Attendance systems.
- Monitor data quality and establish validation processes.
- Support payroll audits and HR compliance reporting.
- Evaluate current People Operations processes and recommend improvements.
- Build workflows that increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
- Create documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with implementation of new People initiatives and technology.
- Support reporting related to: ACA, EEOC-1, OSHA, State employment reporting, Workers' Compensation, Leave administration, HR audits, Internal compliance initiatives.
- 3+ years of Human Resources, HRIS, Payroll, or People Operations experience.
- 2+ years administering an HRIS platform.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience building reports and dashboards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Direct experience administering Rippling.
- Experience supporting multi-state employers.
- Experience working with payroll systems.
- SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with workflow automation.
- Experience supporting organizations with 500+ employees.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies) to improve business processes, reporting, documentation, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
- Experience evaluating, implementing, or optimizing AI-enabled business solutions within Human Resources or business operations.
