About the Job
Imaging Service Engineer - MR/CT
Minimum Experience RequiredSeven (7) years of experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high‑tech diagnostic equipment.
- Must possess MR and CT experience.
- Possess formal training in these modalities.
- OEM training on GE and/or Siemens.
Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment and specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace, and adjust malfunctioning components and parts, and keep records of system problems and issues.
Key Responsibilities- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex information related to the malfunctions of clinical equipment as described by clinical staff, determine equipment operational condition, and follow complex written instructions, perform tasks and document actions taken.
- Ability to perform during emergency or stressful situations.
- Ability to learn equipment maintenance and repair procedures from courses, service engineer representatives, and training materials.
- Computer and typing skills.
Minimum Education Required
Associate’s degree in Medical Electronics, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology, or a related field; or related military training.
Additional Qualifications- Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) and/or Certified Laboratory Equipment Service (CLES) preferred but not required.
- Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third‑party equipment repair in high‑end equipment.
US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Must-HavesMinimum 7+ years of experience with MR/CT equipment.
