Technical Lead - Senior Consultant

Focus on Slalom's Business:

• Proactively solve client problems within the payments space through knowledge of market solutions and technical capabilities.
• Assist in facilitating the development of clients’ future-state payments architecture.
• Deliver end-to-end payment solutions that align with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.
• Advice on the implementation of architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide the implementation of payment solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the implementation process.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to integrate third-party payment services and solutions.
• Deliver exceptionally by applying best practices to accomplish project and organizational objectives.

• Continually expand your expertise in payments capabilities and payments technology.
• Collaborate with our internal and external partners to understand their solutions and how they are implemented.
• Share your expertise with internal and external teams, to enhance capabilities and contribute to our cross-market community.

• Intentionally grow and manage your professional network in delivery environments and/or area of expertise.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders about our capabilities and value of payments.

• Proven expertise in advanced functional or technical roles related to payments technology.
• Experience implementing third party platforms/partner platforms such as Stripe, Ayden, or similar.
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages of Java, Go, JavaScript, Type Script, Python, React, etc. Also should have worked in at least one of the cloud platforms ( AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure).
• Hands-on experience with API integrations.
• Proactive approach to identifying payments solutions and building a positive work culture.
• Comfort with navigating ambiguity on engagements while helping educate clients on the payment's domain.
• Prior payments solution delivery experience.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range for all locations listed is $110,000 to $156,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
