Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist; Level I-IV

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations.

Provides analytic support for SIGINT operations. Capabilities include software development skills and experience using a programming language, such as Python, C#, Java, or C++. Experience in front-end software development, involving Angular, React, Java script, or HTML/CSS is highly desired, as is experience with high-performance computing, AI and data analytics.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming course and at least four upper-level math classes (Calculus and above).

• Experience in a computer science area (theoretical or applied) designing, developing, using, or evaluating mathematical models, methods, and techniques for problem solving, including engineering and high-performance computing.
• Ability to leverage computer science expertise and tradecraft to solve mission problem sets.
• Comfortable participating in cross‑agency working groups, joint development agreements, field assignments, and external customer support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple mission teams.

Education and Experience: Entry‑level positions require an associate’s degree plus four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including an associate’s degree plus thirteen years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree and eleven years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and nine years of relevant experience.

Pay Range: $117,000 – $250,000
