RHN Field Operations Installer/Integrator
Our Defense Sector is looking for a qualified RHN Field Operations Installer/Integrator to support the Regional Hub Node (RHN) of the Training Support Program under the Cyber Training Sustainment Branch (CTSB), Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) at Fort Gordon GA. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and involves operating, installing, and integrating communications systems for government customers.
Responsibilities- Perform Total Package Fielding (TPF) functions in accordance with Army and DoD regulations.
- Travel to RHN locations to assess equipment needs and provide unique system configurations.
- Act as primary technical subject matter expert to government customers.
- Perform joint system checkout and troubleshooting for installations.
- Conduct technical analysis for implementations, modifications, and enhancements.
- Execute installations and handoffs for specified RHN systems.
- Provide engineering assessments for new equipment and software upgrades.
- Develop and improve operations processes and best practices.
- Create lesson materials and conduct on-site training for operations personnel.
- Coordinate TPF activities including NMIB, MRL validation, After Action Reports, and related documentation.
- Prepare and maintain TPF and NET plans for current and future systems.
- Develop customized training plans based on mission requirements.
- Install, service, and repair communications racks in active facilities.
- Integrate military communications racks and major components.
- Perform work in various environments, including night and inclement weather.
- Setup classroom configurations to support individual classes.
- Provide modernization instruction on system operations and maintenance.
- Serve as primary fielders, installers, and instructors.
- Participate in formal training and self-instruction to increase competency.
- Maintain instructor certification through self-study and ongoing training.
- Attend specialized training at CONUS or OCONUS locations as required.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years equivalent MOS experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience teaching within the WIN-T Increments 1 & 2 framework and with Satellite Communications terminal NETOPS tools.
- Familiarity with WAN/LAN systems and fiber optic installations.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS) and OCONUS when required.
Pay Range: $73,450 - $132,775 (U.S. positions). Benefits include competitive compensation, health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement plans.
