Overview

The IT Business Partner acts as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring that the assigned business segment has a smooth technological environment, rapid support, and a reliable partner that speaks their business language.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to employees of the assigned segment – on‑site visits, remote assistance or routing to the appropriate team.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Prioritize support for segment members: record problems in the portal, conduct detailed analysis, resolve issues, and fully document the resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with the segment to understand their technological needs.
- Manage the full onboarding and off‑boarding cycle – from preparing equipment and access to backing up data of departing employees, involving relevant teams.
- Handle incidents and requests – record all tasks, monitor the dashboard, and identify global problems in a timely manner.
- Perform regular technical inspections of meeting rooms.
- Monitor printers, manage cartridge supplies, and communicate with service providers.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support.
- Experience managing first‑ and second‑line support processes.
- Competence in system administration (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and diagnostics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Installation, configuration and support of servers and workstations.
- Support of technical equipment (laptops, printers, scanners).
- Experience with monitoring and incident‑management systems.
- Knowledge of information‑security principles.
- Mediator between business and technical sides – able to translate from one to the other.
- Customer‑oriented approach and service spirit.
- Proactive – identifies problems before escalation.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
- Willingness to quickly learn new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- International certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar).
- Fluent in Georgian and conversational English.
- Experience with ordering equipment and working with suppliers.
