Sr Security Consultant - Top Secret

Senior Consultant is responsible to provide subject‑matter expertise, thought leadership, adoption guidance and solution/technical specialization within and across Broadcom’s Top Secret Mainframe Security product or solutions, positioning Broadcom against competition. Building customer, partner and prospect relationships to better understand business and IT challenges is absolutely critical to the success of this position.

• Maintain deep knowledge of assigned product capabilities, the Mainframe Security Solutions, and how they provide value to clients
• Have a thorough knowledge of the competitive marketplace
• Be able to articulate the value that products deliver to customer initiatives
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, RFx responses
• Install and configure assigned products in customer environments
• Understand and identify client needs for all products in the Broadcom/CA portfolio
• Participate in opportunity planning with sales

User, Administrative or Implementation experience with Top Secret, CEM, Cleanup, AAM, TAMz and other industry‑leading security solutions is required. Windows, Unix, Linux, Client Server and workload Agent experience is preferred. Ten plus years of mainframe operations and/or system programming experience are required.

Bachelors or global equivalent in Computer Science or a related degree and 8+ years of related experience, or Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience.

Typically 8 or more years of detailed technical industry‑related experience, experience working with customers, sales personnel and customer services, experience in related industry disciplines and technologies and related application experience (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, operating system administration). Preference is given to candidates reporting to the Plano, TX office.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,300-$141,300. The position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity as per plan documents and agreements.
