Senior IT Specialist – Distribution Center, Georgia

• Warehouse & Operations Support – hands‑on support for the warehouse floor, administrative offices, and leadership functions.
• Mobility Devices – configure, troubleshoot, and maintain handheld mobile Android devices (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell) and vehicle‑mounted terminals.
• Printing Infrastructure – maintain a fleet of critical printers/label printers and office multifunction printers.
• WMS Support – act as liaison between warehouse associates and the WMS Application Support Team, ensuring user issues are reported effectively, accurately, and resolved swiftly.
• Network & Infrastructure Connectivity – hands‑on support for Wi‑Fi APs, switches, firewalls, and IoT devices.
• Cabling – coordinate fiber/CAT6 cabling needs, patch‑panel management, and ensure a clean, organized MDF/IDF cabinets.
• Vendor Management – act as the local liaison for ISPs, low‑voltage cable installers, and various IT vendors.
• End‑User Support –
  • Onboarding: conduct IT onboarding sessions with new hires; ensure devices operate as expected and answer technical follow‑up questions.
  • Offboarding: collect, inventory, and wipe equipment for departing staff.
  • Troubleshooting: triage hardware, software, and connectivity issues for office staff and warehouse associates (Windows, Microsoft
    365, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
  • Asset Management: review and update inventory records for all IT assets in the Georgia facility.

• Minimum 5 years of IT support experience, with multiple years supporting IT in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Technical proficiency:
  Windows OS, Microsoft
  365, Azure administration.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi APs, SFPs, cabling standards.
• Familiarity with label‑printing technology (Zebra is a plus).
• Autonomy: ability to work independently and in collaboration with the IT Operations team; self‑starter who prioritizes tasks and proactively seeks improvement opportunities.

• Physical requirements:
  
  lift up to 50lb; stand/walk for extended periods on a concrete warehouse floor; work in an air‑conditioned room when supporting MDF infrastructure.
• Travel: up to 10% of the time; employee must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
• Expense: employee will own a credit card and manage expenses personally, with reimbursement on a bi‑weekly basis.
• Shift flexibility: work multiple shifts (day, swing, night) or be on call depending on operational demands; ability to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and tolerate warehouse environmental conditions (temperature variations, noise, etc.).
