SME- Geospatial Analyst

- Geospatial Analyst to support a Federal Government client.

Description:

* College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS), Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.

* Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.

* Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

* Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, Map Box, Geo Server, etc.

* Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.

* Extensive experience with geographically derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.

* Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.

* Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows.

* Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.

Job Requirements

Desired experiences:

* Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories.

* Experience working within common project management frameworks.

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.

* Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom solutions.

* Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.

* Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.

* Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles.

* Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production.

Education:

* MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 10 years of relevant experience;

* BA/BS degree in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 15 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:

* Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.

Location:

* Fort Gordon, GA.
