Desktop Support Technician Level III

Job Summary

Tyto Athene is searching for a Desktop Support Level III to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. This role supports the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services on a complex, multi‑year contract.

• Oversee the productivity of 10 Command Focal Point (CFP) personnel.
• Provide support to end‑users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
• Perform configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals.
• Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify and correct core problems.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
• Maintain currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.

• 5 or more years of experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent.
• Capabilities needed to deliver in‑person and remote IT aid.
• Strong installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
• Excellent vertical and lateral thinking.
• Superb time‑management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Forbearing, flexible, and supportive.
• Active CompTIA IT Fundamentals Level II certification (Security+ or similar).
• Provide onsite support at Warner Robins AFRC in GA.

• Active DoD Secret clearance.

The hourly range for this position is typically between $27.00 to $30.00. Compensation is based on multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements and may fall outside of the above‑stated range.
