Overview
Tactica Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support the U.S. Army INSCOM APOGEE program at Fort Gordon. This is a high-impact opportunity to design and implement data-driven solutions in direct support of critical Army and national intelligence this role, you will bring deep knowledge of data architecture, integration, governance, process automation, and programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C, MATLAB, or SAS to solve complex GEOINT and intelligence data challenges.
You will work side-by-side with GEOINT analysts and partners across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, developing scalable data structures, systems, models, algorithms, and software tools that enable timely, actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate data-driven approaches to client intelligence requirements.
- Design how data will be stored, accessed, used, integrated, and managed by different data regimes and digital systems as necessary or directed.
- Work with GEOINT analysts to determine, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, systems, process automation, and models to support customer intelligence requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on all facets of GEOINT, including related fields such as open-source GEOINT, data science/analysis, and imagery science.
- Facilitate the integration of emerging GEOINT capabilities, including all related functions, as required.
- Develop, adapt, and integrate algorithms, software tools, and tradecraft to satisfy customer requirements as necessary or directed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- MA or MS in Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics, or related field AND 5 years CURRENT Intelligence.
- Analysis experience; OR BA or BS in Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics, or related field AND 10 years CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience; OR HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 10 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience AND 5 years of Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics experience..
CLEARANCE
- Current/active TS/SCI security clearance
TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Experience utilizing programming languages such as SAS, R, Java, C, MATLAB, Sca La, or Python; experience accelerating large data transactions across industry- leading GPU architectures to answer analytic questions.
- Experience with assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics, including the application of metadata management techniques and ability to interrogate databases efficiently using SQL.

- Expert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports.
- Experience with tradecraft and publication; ability to coordinate and support cross- community meetings and working groups; assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce reports using data science focused libraries such as Pandas, Scikit, Tensor Flow and Gensim to answer analytical questions.

Qualification:
- Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products.
- Knowledge and experience with intelligence operations and in assisting with drafting expert assessments across operations priorities on behalf of the stakeholder.
