Customer Service Representative - Automotive Warehouse

Job Description

The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for OEM customers, ensuring accurate order processing, on-time delivery, and exceptional customer service. This role works closely with Operations, Materials Planning, Warehouse, Shipping, Logistics, and Quality to manage customer demand, monitor inventory, coordinate shipments, and resolve delivery issues in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

• Manage customer orders, schedules, forecasts, and EDI transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply or production issues.
• Process shipping documentation, ASNs, and customer portal updates.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP systems and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Communicate shipment status, delivery updates, and recovery plans to customers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service, logistics, supply chain, or materials planning experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, EDI, customer portals, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
