This role is part of Starbucks’ Roasting Plants, where you will manage compliance, oversee contractors, and handle procurement to keep plant operations safe and efficient.

$29.09/yr - $43.75/yr

• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance of plant systems such as annual fire system testing, annual hoist inspections, back flow prev enters, etc.
• Ensure contracted service providers meet Starbucks requirements, including OSHA logs, liability insurance, and daily permit compliance.
• Execute procurement services to meet business requirements, including inventory control, cost analysis, and capacity analysis.
• Obtain quotes, create requisitions, and generate purchase orders for contracted services.
• Recommend and implement solutions to improve cost and quality of contracted service providers.
• Maintain and support ongoing development of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Work in conjunction with parts buyer to ensure replacement parts are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.
• Maintain and renew annual service contracts for critical plant processing equipment such as air compressors, X‑rays, packaging machines and HVAC systems.

• 5 years’ experience with data collection, analysis and technical report writing.
• 5 years’ experience working in a large‑scale manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience coordinating vendor service visits.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to accurately gather, input and report inventory and system data through manual or automated systems.
• Knowledge of MRP (materials requirements planning) and ERP (enterprise resource planning) packages.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects.
• Strong technical aptitude with electrical and mechanical knowledge base.
• Ability to quickly identify electrical and mechanical components with an understanding of maintenance processes.

• 2‑year associate’s degree or 4‑year college degree.
• Experience with MRP and ERP packages.
• Strong technical aptitude with electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including FDA and GFSI certifications.
