Responsibilities- Assist in maintenance processes for the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision.
- Support make-ready process in alignment with property objectives.
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
- Carry out regular inspections of grounds and facilities to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance program to extend property life and minimize future repairs.
- Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop, follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management of equipment and supplies; keep accurate records of service requests and maintenance activities.
- Participate in unit inspections and on-call emergency coverage as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold a professional image of the community.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform on-site software functions.
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to understand and perform maintenance tasks with attention to safety and quality.
- Regular movement to perform tasks across the property; ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders; lift and move objects and equipment up to 100+ lbs as needed.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and to work overtime, weekends, and on-call property emergencies.
- Must have reliable transportation due to emergency on-call requirements.
Salary Range: $20 per hour to $24 per hour. Details on total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401K with employer matching, and bonuses are provided with the offer. Full-time employees receive paid sick days and company holidays.
