Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive after-sales strategy aligned with the company’s global vision and regional growth targets.
  • Leading the transformation of the after-sales function into a proactive, value-generating business unit.
  • Championing digital tools, data analytics, and service innovation to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Engagement & Growth:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensuring long‑term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identifying and developing new service offerings, including contracts, upgrades, and lifecycle solutions.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to align after-sales initiatives with customer needs and market trends.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Defining and driving the strategic direction of After Sales operations across the Americas, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Partnering closely with the Operations department for field service execution, service quality, and operational delivery.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs specific to After Sales performance, including service revenue, customer satisfaction, contract renewal rates, and parts/service profitability.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of After Sales professionals across multiple geographies.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
  • Ensuring talent development, succession planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.

As part of the leadership team, this role is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (EMS/OHSMS) in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. The incumbent will integrate environmental and safety objectives into strategic planning and decision‑making processes, assign and communicate roles and responsibilities related to EHS compliance, and regularly review performance metrics and audit findings to drive organizational accountability and improvement.

This role includes responsibilities that support the organization’s compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. The incumbent is expected to adhere to documented procedures, participate in audits and training, and contribute to the continual improvement of the Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in after‑sales, service operations, or customer success, preferably in the water treatment or industrial technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of transforming service organizations into growth engines.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and cultures.
  • Experience managing regional teams and working in a matrixed global organization
  • Lean Six Sigma, or similar, a plus
Compensation

The total compensation for this position is $150,000 to $160,000, or commensurate with experience, plus 25% commissions and benefits.
