Regional Facilities Manager – Affordable Housing (NSPIRE Focus)
We are seeking a hands‑on Regional Facilities Manager to lead inspection readiness and maintenance operations across a multi‑state affordable housing portfolio.
This is a field‑based leadership role built around improving NSPIRE / HUD inspection performance. The right candidate will combine technical maintenance expertise with strong accountability and project management skills. This is not a desk role — we need someone who is comfortable leading from the front and stepping in when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead preparation efforts for NSPIRE (HUD) inspections
- Develop inspection readiness plans and conduct internal audits
- Coordinate vendors, temps, and on‑site maintenance teams
- Perform hands‑on repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) as needed
- Ensure properties meet HUD compliance standards
- Assign and verify scope of work across large properties
- Track inspection metrics and drive score improvement
- Travel extensively throughout the region (28‑day on‑site prep cycles)
- 10+ years of facilities or property maintenance experience
- Strong technical repair knowledge (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Multi‑site or regional leadership experience
- Ability to travel for extended periods
- Experience in affordable housing / LIHTC environment preferred
