We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental and Energy Manager to join our team. As the Environmental and Energy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, optimize energy usage, and drive sustainability initiatives. Your expertise in environmental management, energy conservation, and sustainable practices will play a crucial role in minimizing our environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in environmental management, energy conservation, or sustainability roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing operations, including but not limited to Title V air permits, SPCC, SWPPP, etc.
- Strong understanding of energy management principles, energy‑efficient technologies, and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in conducting environmental audits, risk assessments, and managing environmental reporting and permitting processes.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and reporting standards, such as ISO 50001, ISO 14001 and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to lead and drive environmental initiatives across the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using environmental management systems, data management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or similar credentials are advantageous.
- A commitment to staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices related to environmental sustainability and energy management.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Proven ability to meet and collaborate with external vendors, including leading and supporting contract negotiations.
- Experience selecting, onboarding, and managing vendor relationships to ensure performance, cost‑effectiveness, and service quality.
- Comfortable working within a global organization, effectively navigating cultural and language differences.
- Flexible with time zones and able to support international stakeholders across regions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Individual must thrive in a fast‑paced environment in which he/she must be strategic yet tactical.
