Are you an experienced Land Development Engineer with a passion for shaping high‑quality single‑family communities? We’re looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager focused on single‑family residential development. In this role, you’ll take the lead on projects from early due diligence through construction close‑out, serving as a trusted advisor to residential developers and homebuilders.
As a senior member of our land development practice, you’ll play a key role in growing our single‑family portfolio while mentoring younger engineers and helping guide the strategic direction of our residential work.
- Manage multiple single‑family residential land development projects from concept, entitlement, and design.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for developer and home builder clients, maintaining strong relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Bring in and manage your own projects, contributing to the continued growth of our single‑family practice.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including junior engineers, designers, and support staff.
- Collaborate with planners, surveyors, utilities, municipalities, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient, buildable residential communities.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, subdivision ordinances, and residential development standards.
- 8‑10 years of progressive experience in land development, with a strong emphasis on single‑family residential projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required – candidates without an EIT or PE license will not be considered.
- Demonstrated project management experience supporting residential subdivisions, neighborhood roadways, grading, drainage, and utilities.
- Proven business development ability, including cultivating client relationships and generating new work.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Competitive Compensation
- Flexible Work Schedule
- Paid Time Off
- Health Care Plans (Medical, Dental, & Vision)
- 401(k) Retirement Plan with A&S Matching
- Performance‑Based Bonus
- Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary, & AD&D)
- Paid Family Leave
- Short‑Term & Long‑Term Disability Insurance
- Additional Benefits
