Director Of Finance

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead the financial, operational, and administrative activities of our organization. This executive-level role is responsible for financial stewardship, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and supporting organizational growth. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Operations

  • Direct all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, asset management, and audits.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and compliant financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all financial reporting requirements for government and regulatory authorities are met.
  • Proactively monitor organizational investments, assessing risks and identifying opportunities.

Strategic & Tactical Planning

  • Analyze financial trends and organizational data to provide informed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the CEO in developing annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Establish and maintain internal financial controls; coordinate annual financial audits.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Organizational Leadership

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic planning and organizational goals.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental communication, integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Address emerging issues related to business operations, personnel, materials, or systems.
  • Meet or exceed established key performance indicators.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of management experience required.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular activities may include standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, or twisting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based environment with climate control.
  • Rare exposure to blood or blood products.
  • Work may involve frequent interruptions, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
  • Evening, holidays, or weekend hours may occasionally be required.
