Job Description Summary
Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They also motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.
EssentialJob Duties
- Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
- Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
- Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
- Leading by example. Instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
- Maintain residents’ files in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
- Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
- Be able to manage a team
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- GA Real Estate License preferred
- 3 years of on-site multifamily property manager experience required, including annual property budget creation and consistent multifamily property budget and expense reporting and analysis management, reporting, and invoicing with coding, reclasses and accruals.
- Team management, training, and daily task/on-site operations leadership experience required.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regular travel to properties may be required.

The employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, and may be required to travel between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
The employee may also be required to remain seated or standing for 85% of the time, operate office machinery, travel up to 15% of the time, and exert up to 25 pounds occasionally or frequently.
