Washington Semester Program Assistant
Position Summary:
The Washington Semester Program is a university‑wide academic program for approximately 32 undergraduates who will live, intern, and study in Washington, D.C. The Program Assistant is a part‑time live‑in position and will play a vital role in the program by serving as the DC contact for emergencies and program‑related matters.
- Act as primary contact for emergencies.
- Coordinate weekly seminars and program events.
- Attend meetings with program leadership and DC‑based constituents.
- Coordinate residential check‑in and check‑out processes.
- Assist with all program orientation and training activities.
- Serve as the live‑in resident in program housing and ensure a positive living environment for students.
- Effective leadership skills to work with a group of approximately 32 undergraduates.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt
Schedule:
Part‑time, FTE 0.50, Starting 06/01/2026.
