Job Summary
The New Student and Family Transitions (NSFT) Office Manager at Augusta University plays a central role in student retention and enrollment planning. The position manages the NSFT budget, coordinates orientation and family programming for thousands of participants annually, oversees administrative operations and a team of student employees, and provides high‑level support to the Director. The Office Manager ensures that all operational details—from budgeting to event execution—align with the university’s commitment to an exceptional student experience.
Responsibilities- Financial Administration and Budget Management:
Manage all unit budget accounts, track expenses, projections, and monthly reconciliation. Monitor payroll for student employees, prepare vendor requisitions, and maintain audit‑ready documentation. - Administrative Operations and Leadership Support:
Provide high‑level administrative support to the Director, manage calendars, travel, and meeting materials; serve as the primary office contact; streamline office systems and supervise student support staff. - Program Logistics and Event Coordination:
Handle all logistics for orientation, family programs, and transition events, including venue booking, catering, AV, signage, and campus partner coordination; maintain data in Slate and Touch Net. - NSFT Support and Process Improvement:
Assist with all NSFT initiatives, including LEAP Week, Parent & Family Weekend, and summer orientation; develop and implement new processes and service improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and one year of progressive office experience, including supervisory experience; OR an Associate’s degree and seven years of progressive office experience with supervisory duties.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Shift: Days;
Monday‑Friday (extended hours may be required).
Pay Band: B7. Salary range: $43,888 to $44,029.69 annually, commensurate with qualifications.
