Building Systems Manager; Operations & Maintenance

The Building Systems Manager position of the Operations and Maintenance division will manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for facilities under the Department of Support Services. The incumbent will supervise trade staff and administer service contracts in support of these systems and facilities. In addition, the incumbent will oversee building automation, access control, fire alarm, security alarm, video surveillance, and other control systems.

The incumbent will direct engineering projects, including defining project budgets, developing, reviewing, and approving designs, and performing data analysis. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain reports and coordinate the RFP process.

This position is a grade 106.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; AND
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible engineering and/or facility maintenance program management experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above.

• Two (2) years of management experience
• Valid driver's license
