Position Title:Branch Manager
Department:Operations Management
Reports To:Regional Manager
Position Type:Exempt/Full-time
General Summary
The Branch Manageractsastheprimaryleaderofallaspectsofthebranchoperations .Theroleoverseesdailyfieldoperations,warehouse,officesupportstaff,andmanagetheP&L(profitandloss) toensureexpectedrevenueandcustomersatisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
- Superviseandmanagetheworkflowofbranchstafftoensuretimelyandaccuratecompletionofoffice,warehouse,andfieldduties.
- Conductweeklymeetingswithstafftomonitorworkflowanddeadlines.
- Overseeandmanageallbranchoperationsandoperationalbudget.
- Ensurethatthefieldstaffadherestobuilders’ scheduledtimelineforinstallation.
- Actsasprimarypointofcontactforvendorsandcustomers.
- Resolveescalatedissues or conflicts.
- Assistsalesstaffinpursuingand retaining salesandbusinessdevelopmentopportunities.
- Recruitandretainadequatesubcontractorlaborpool.
- Auditinstallerbackcharges.
- Oversee inventory control and logistics to ensure efficient order fulfillment, delivery, and installation.
- Coordinate with Human Resourcesforrecruitment ,performance,anddevelopmentneeds.
- Othermanagement,administrative,and/orclericaldutiesasassigned.
Education and Experience
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalent.
Collegedegreepreferred. - Minimumof3yearsofmanagementexperienceintheconstructionindustry.
Flooringmanagementexperienceisaplus. - Strong negotiation skills, conflict resolutions skills, and leadership abilities.
- Priorexperienceusingschedulingsoftware,JDE,Microsoft Office,andERPsoftware.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide solutions to unexpected challenges. Thinking outside the box to ensure customer satisfaction.
Other Requirements
- Thisrolewouldrequiretheabilitytolift,push,and/orpullloadsinexcessof
50lb. - Fundamentalmathematicalcomprehensionrequired.
- Abilitytomulti-taskisrequired.
- Deep understanding of flooring materials (hardwood, tile, LVP, carpet) and other materials as needed (cabinets, countertops, specialty products)
- Valid Florida driver’slicenseandcleanMVRrequired.
- Travel required:dailytravelrequired.
