Why This Role MattersAs our Director of Finance, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. You'll lead critical financial functions, strengthen internal controls, identify opportunities for growth, and help drive strategic decisions that support our mission and long-term success.
What You'll DoLead Financial Operations- Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, asset management, and audits.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for leadership, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor organizational investments, evaluating risk while identifying opportunities for growth and sustainability.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial reporting requirements and regulations.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Partner with the CEO to develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal controls to protect organizational assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Lead the annual audit process and support ongoing financial transparency and accountability.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and maximize resources.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of communication, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Address emerging operational challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Monitor performance metrics and support efforts to meet or exceed key organizational objectives.
- Support the CEO and executive team with special projects and initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational success.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of progressive management experience required.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
