ICMS is looking for an experienced Environmental/Safety/Health (ESH) Manager who is responsible for managing and overseeing environmental, occupational safety, and health programs to ensure contractor operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and Department of Defense requirements. The ESH Manager will provide guidance and oversight across the contract's functional areas, identify and mitigate workplace hazards, monitor environmental compliance, and support continuous improvement of the contractor's Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the contractor's Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) program across all functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, USACE EM 385-1-1, environmental regulations, contract requirements, and installation policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections, environmental assessments, hazard assessments, and compliance audits.
  • Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and tracked to completion.
  • Support accident, incident, injury, and environmental event investigations and required reporting.
  • Develop and maintain ESH plans, procedures, records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and provide required ESH training, safety briefings, and employee orientations.
  • Monitor hazardous materials, hazardous waste, PPE, emergency response, and other applicable ESH programs.
  • Coordinate with DPW, Government representatives, installation safety/environmental personnel, supervisors, and subcontractors on ESH matters.
  • Provide ESH guidance to management and field personnel and promote a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Perform other ESH-related duties as required to support successful contract performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising or managing environmental, occupational safety, or industrial safety, programs.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring safety and environmental programs in facility operations, maintenance, construction, industrial, military installation, or similar environments.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), military installation, federal, or Base Operations Support (BASOPS) contracts is highly desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
Licenses and

Certifications:
  • A valid state’s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
  • OSHA 511 – Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry certification.
  • USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health certification/training.
  • Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 40-Hour certification in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Other nationally recognized Environmental, Safety, and Health certifications will be considered.

Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.
