Inventory Clerk-Warehouse; Augusta, GA - Austin Industrial; NUTR Temporary

Rate: $23.77 USD per hour

Austin Industrial delivers premier maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to leading industrial companies across the U.S., providing single‑source solutions in the oil, gas, chemical, food, agriculture, power, and manufacturing industries.

Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product, pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials and supplies, stage finished products for shipping, move and organize inventory, and operate machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a short‑term position for a duration of approximately six months, Monday through Friday, eight hours a day, with potential to lead to a long‑term opportunity.

There is no per diem.

• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
• Use paper logs and bar‑code scanners.
• Lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Issue material at the counter.
• Unload trucks with pallet jack, move material with hand truck, load material on shelves.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying listed on production orders.
• Maintain in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintain material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections and making operator repairs.
• Stand for eight hours.
• Have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Receive instructions and follow directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  no minimum educational requirements.
• Experience:
  
  6+ months in an industrial setting preferred.
