Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support operational performance and drive continuous improvement across a high-volume production environment. This role will play a key part in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing material flow, and improving overall efficiency across the line. The position offers strong visibility across operations and engineering, with accountability for driving sustainable improvements in cost, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality across the production line
  • Partner closely with operations, materials, and engineering teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate and refine manufacturing methods, including material presentation and line-side processes
  • Support cost reduction efforts through value engineering, labor efficiency improvements, and process redesign
  • Analyze make vs. buy decisions for components and subassemblies, identifying opportunities for internal optimization
  • Implement error-proofing solutions and leverage manufacturing technologies (MES or similar systems) to enhance process control
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials to support standardized operations
  • Drive continuous improvement activities including Kaizen events, productivity initiatives, and rapid improvement projects
  • Collect and analyze production data (cycle times, weights, dimensions, etc.) to improve planning and process consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, and supply chain execution
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering within a production environment
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
  • Experience working with manufacturing systems such as MES, CAD, or PLM tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of quality and process control tools (FMEA, control plans, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze and improve production workflows, material flow, and line efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands‑on approach to driving improvements on the floor
  • Effective communicator who can collaborate across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams
Why This Role:
  • Direct impact on manufacturing performance, cost savings, and operational efficiency
  • High visibility across plant leadership and cross‑functional teams
  • Opportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic production environment
  • Exposure to both strategic process design and hands‑on manufacturing execution
