EARTH is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Lift Truck Operator to join our manufacturing and logistics team in Appling, GA. This role is critical to maintaining efficient warehouse operations by safely operating lift trucks to move, load, and unload materials and products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, industrial environment.
- Safely operating a 30,000 lb forklift to move heavy materials and equipment around the facility.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials to designated areas.
- Performing daily inspections and maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the warehouse and production teams to manage material flow and inventory.
- Assisting in the organization and storage of materials in the yard and warehouse, while adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in forklift operation.
- Technical certifications in manufacturing operations are a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements- Lifting:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance. - Standing & Walking:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. - Manual Dexterity:
Use of hands and arms to handle, control, and operate lift trucks, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment. - Visual Acuity:
Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels, safety signs, and navigate safely in tight spaces. - Reaching, Bending, and Stooping:
Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping to handle materials, pallets, and equipment controls. - Climbing:
Occasional use of steps, ladders, or entry into lift truck cabins. - Balance and Coordination:
Ability to maintain balance and coordination while operating moving equipment in a dynamic environment. - Endurance:
Physically capable of repetitive tasks, long shifts, and sometimes working in non‑climate‑controlled environments (heat, cold, humidity). - Auditory Requirement:
Ability to hear equipment alarms, signals, and verbal directions over ambient noise.
