PositionNET Modernization Training/Fielding Support for the Warfighter Readiness program at Fort Gordon, GA. Primary duty to design and implement high‑level telecommunication capabilities for military operations.
Responsibilities- Provide support at all customer locations and general network maintenance.
- Analyze and diagnose malfunctions related to the system, its components, and all supported software.
- Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless networks (WiFi, 4G, LOS, Tropo) as the networks are applied to the PM Tactical Network Core and Network Modernization systems.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training on the system.
- Participate in upgrades, improvements, and changes to the PM Tactical Network Core systems as well as the complete product line of the Network Modernization program.
- Report issues, changes, and development status in accordance with the Project Communications Management Plan.
- Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment and optimize existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding or deleting neighbors, and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems.
- Monitor and analyze statistical and test data to improve system performance.
- Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, RF engineering tools, and antenna theory to choose access point placement.
- Conduct project work in a safe and professional manner.
- Instruct classes and assist in the development of Technical Manuals and Training Package for all Net Mod products.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience. Additional directly related experience can offset the degree requirements.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance after hire.
- Travel:
Up to 50% travel – CONUS/OCONUS. - Current U.S. Passport (Upcoming missions in Guam, Samoa, U.S. VI, PR, Germany, RoK, Italy, Afri Com AO).
- Defense in Support of Civil Authorities (DISCA).
- Disaster Response Team – Hurricane/Wildfire/Terrorist etc.
- Deployable under austere conditions – OCONUS.
- Prior Instructor experience.
- Field support background.
- Ability to work in SCIF and T‑SCIF.
- Must lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- CCNA (Routing / Switching)

- JNN/STT/CPN knowledge
- Extensive VM
- Voice (CCM/VoIP/POTS)
- Radio (UHF/VHF/HF/Public Safety)
- Total systems troubleshooting
- Ability to erect mast systems
