We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lead Plant Operator to join our production team. The role’s primary objective is to ensure the safe and efficient loading and packaging of dry ice products while strictly adhering to quality control standards. The position also requires maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility to guarantee a safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Loading & Packaging:
Perform the daily loading, weighing, and packaging of dry ice products into various containers (blocks, pellets, slices) based on customer orders. - Quality Assurance:
Inspect all finished products to ensure they meet the company’s strict quality standards regarding weight, density, and packaging integrity. - Equipment Operation:
Operate production machinery and material handling equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and efficiently. - Documentation:
Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent.
- One year experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
