1st Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator - Jackson

• Assist in achieving maximum efficiency and productivity of group personnel.
• Encourage efficient utilization of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure the work group has necessary resources to complete requirements.
• Work with the Supervisor and group members to develop plans for fulfilling orders according to customer requirements.
• Update the work group on information pertinent to successful delivery of the order.
• Perform continuous quality control inspections of own work and co‑workers during normal operations.
• Maintain compliance with Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Keep the work area, equipment, and supplies neat and orderly; direct co‑workers to do the same.
• Assist in training the work group and identifying training needs, providing technical assistance and training when necessary.
• Facilitate the group process in meetings and daily operations; provide feedback and coaching.
• Help develop individual group members in process, team dynamics, basic quality tools, and problem‑solving techniques.
• Guide the work group’s problem‑solving process toward continuous improvement of quality and productivity.
• Advise the Supervisor of any organizational changes that may affect processes.
• Orient new group members.
• Ensure group goals are clear and reach consensus on key issues.
• Interface with other departments as necessary and build rapport with critical units.
• Resolve material flow and coordinate with planners.
• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Resolve shop orders, material problems, notes, and quantities.
• Assist with Final QC and back up other departments as needed.
• 1st Shift hours: approximately 7:00AM–5:30PM, Monday–Thursday.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety standards and work collaboratively.
