Job Description
Express is looking for a dependable, motivated, and safety-focused Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands‑on role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment while helping improve and grow our maintenance processes throughout the facility.
This is not a position where you simply come in and complete daily work orders. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and help support and educate frontline employees with basic troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
Compensation$20.00 – $30.00 per hour
ScheduleMonday – Friday - 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, wiring, plumbing, and related systems
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, parts records, and support CMMS updates
- Inspect equipment, identify potential issues, and help improve maintenance processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety standards
- Work closely with supervisors and production teams to support operations and train frontline employees on basic maintenance practices
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; welding, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience
- Ability to read manuals, shop drawings, and use measuring tools
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email communication
Experience operating forklifts and working in manufacturing environments - Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and maintain reliable attendance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in heat, cold, dust, and noisy conditions
- Self‑starter with strong initiative
- Reliable attendance and accountability
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously and stay productive
- Strong troubleshooting and critical‑thinking skills
- Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to mentor others
- Desire to improve processes and equipment performance
