What’s yours?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Material Handler to support our fabric cutting and production operations. In this role, you will load and unload fabric bolts, supply materials to production departments, maintain inventory flow, and ensure orders are processed accurately while following all safety procedures.
What you’ll do- Load and unload fabric bolts onto cutting A-frames and cutting machines.
- Deliver fabric racks and materials throughout the production workroom.
- Verify fabric, color, and order information using zone tickets.
- Return unused fabric to the warehouse, ensuring bolts are neatly taped and organized.
- Place wide sheers in protective plastic after cutting.
- Match dye lots for repair orders.
- Move and organize cut-out boxes, custom cuts, and over-treatment orders.
- Prioritize urgent production orders and maintain an organized workflow.
- Change or repair rack wheels using basic hand tools when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull fabric materials and production equipment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately match fabric, colors, numbers, and order information.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks accurately.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately to ensure correct fabric selection.
- Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Annual base salary range: $15 hourly
