The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading operational excellence initiatives across a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on driving process improvements, increasing productivity, enhancing quality and safety performance, reducing costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position partners with cross‑functional teams to implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies while supporting overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify, prioritize, and lead process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Standard Work, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects, workshops, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of improvement and capital projects, ensuring successful execution and sustainability.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project effectiveness and operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Support change management efforts and help build a culture centered on continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with applicable quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred.
